Welcome! You've found the unofficial travel log of the Stanford Solar Car Team. This blog will chronicle the adventures of the team while we compete in the World Solar Challenge in Australia. After the team completes the race and parts ways, it will follow Nathan Hall-Snyder, Nathan Golshan, Rachel Fenichel, Forest Nelson, Wesley Ford, and Ian Darr as they backpack in New Zealand and explore Vietnam.
A note about our namesake - this summer we had an unfortunate run-in with some insects in the kitchen at the team's summer house, which led to the hypothesis that we should have a team lizard to take care of the problem - hence, Solar Lizard.
The team will be keeping you up to date on our shenanigans, successes, and mishaps. Hopefully the emphasis will be on the former. I (Nathan Golshan) will be posting samples of my photography as we go along, so you can see as well as read about what we're up to.
